Well of course we are going to be at the Maker Faire again this year, because that is who you are, Makers.
So come on out to see us!

Maker Faire is a full-blown community fair that celebrates making, invention and creativity.  This family-friendly event brings together science, art, craft, homesteading and engineering plus music, food, workshops, and performance, and showcases the amazing work of makers across the San Francisco Bay and beyond.

Giant Cupcake - Total Control LightingScott sent us this fun video of his giant motorized cupcake car, which he is in the process of perfecting, lit using Total Control Lighting. Our favorite line, a perfect thought from a maker, “We have to put brakes on, but that’ll be for Maker Faire.”

You can see the video HERE.

Luminescent Grand Akshay Sawhney

We have highlighted the Luminescent Grand on our blog before because it is so amazing. As you can see from the photo above, it was a BIG hit at Maker Faire, all the pianists wanted to give it a try.  So we thought you might also like to see it’s creator, William Jerome (Coda) playing it for the crowd.

We were thrilled when we recently found a video that explains a bit of the conceptualization behind the programming, and we knew you would want to see that too.
