tcl-pixelsAs a consolation prize to our FaceBook friends who can’t make it to San Mateo this weekend, we’d like to share our Maker Faire special with you: Total Control Lighting will be $1/pixel all day Saturday and Sunday, May 18th and 19th.  Our sea shipment of pixels has arrived with perfect timing — TCL pixels have never been on sale for less than $2/each.   If you place an order online this weekend for a strand of 25 pixels, we’ll ship you a strand of 50; every strand of 50 that you order will double to two.  (While supplies last).  Simply put in the Notes section during checkout “We love you on Facebook”.

As usual, we’re introducing many new items to our amazing line for the first time at Maker Faire.  Hope to see all of you creative souls in Fiesta Hall this weekend!

Well of course we are going to be at the Maker Faire again this year, because that is what you are, Makers.  So come on out to see us. It is a full-blown community fair that celebrates making, invention and creativity.  This family-friendly event brings together science, art, craft, homesteading and engineering plus music, food, workshops, and performance, and showcases the amazing work of makers across the San Francisco Bay and beyond.

This year we will once again will have a booth in the dark hall. In addition to having a booth Ben will be doing a presentation on Total Control Lighting and for something new he is entering his Social Revolution trike in the 4-wheel race.

The Fun Bike Unicorn Club (FBUC), a lively group of bicycle enthusiasts based in Sonoma County, Calif., brought the Death Defying Figure 8 Pedal Car Races to Maker Faire Bay Area in 2012. They threw down a challenge to makers: to hand-build a pedal-powered single seater with no less than four wheels, bring it to the Faire, and race it on their tricky track bearing two turns and a cross. The result was a mighty good time had by all, we hope you will root for us in this year’s race.

What an honor that our booth is next to famous Super Sylvia’s table

Watch this space for additional details regarding our booth location (but you know you can look for the Total Control Lighting newly programmed interactive Screen, pictured above), and specific information about Ben’s presentation and the race.  You are not going to want to miss any of it.
