Come out to see us at the East Bay Mini Maker Faire.  It is a full-blown community fair that celebrates making, invention and creativity.  This family-friendly event brings together science, art, craft, homesteading and engineering plus music, food, workshops, and performance, and showcases the amazing work of over 100 makers across the East Bay and beyond.

When:  Sunday, October 14th, 10 a.m.—5 p.m.
Where: Park Day School campus & Studio One Art Center, 360 42nd Street, Oakland, CA.

Luminous Passage 2.0 Coming to the Playa

Luminous Passage 2.0 is coming to the Playa in 2012 and Cool Neon is proud that they are lighting up the sky with Cool Neon EL Wire.  Luminous Passage 2.0 is a 200’ long structure consisting of a minimal and elegant cable systems used to support electroluminescent wire composed in such a way as to create a porous “land bridge” taking people around the Playa. Luminous Passage offers the audience a transition from the hardscape of the urban environment to the open and natural spaces we find on the open playa.

We look forward to seeing this magnificent structure on the Playa this year.
